Steve Donnelly
Steve, a native of Altoona, Pennsylvania, became the first new DoubleShot! dude in August of 2008.
When not singing with DoubleShot!, Steve is an Elementary Music Specialist in the North Allegheny School District in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. While the group may not admit it, his job doesn’t change that much after spending all day with elementary kids then going to a DoubleShot! rehearsal…
Steve is an accomplished free-lance trumpet player and also plays piano, guitar, trombone, saxophone, flute, French Horn, Tuba, Ukulele, washboard, chess, backgammon, Parcheesi, and Clue (he can also solve a Rubik’s Cube in 45 seconds but would appreciate if people would stop handing him theirs during a show).
Turns out Steve can ALSO sing. He can be heard belting out some great pop leads that are quickly becoming crowd favorites.
Steve has a Bachelor of Science in Music Education and a minor in Jazz from Duquesne University.
